Michele’s high level of experience combined with her dedication and understanding make the ingredients of coaching excellence. Her coaching skills bring out the best in all her students. They have competed successfully through the intermediate Three-Day Event levels, including the young rider championships in 2007. Whether she is helping a fellow top level competitor, a young rider or an adult amateur she passes on the skill and self-confidence to meet their goals. Michele, herself, has trained with the best including: Jimmy Wofford, Capt. Mark Phillips, Karen O'Connor, Sandy Pfleuger Phillips, and Maj. Jeremy Beale. Michele is available for lessons at her farm or yours, clinics, and coaching at events. She is also available for training your horse at her farm or yours. References available upon request.

2009 Competition News

Wendy Masemer and Likolina finished off a great fall season with a big win in the mare's second preliminary level start at the Virginia Horse Trials (Oct. 30th - Nov. 1st). They also had a respectable 7th place finish at Morven Park in the mare's first preliminary competition with a second in the dressage phase, a double-clear show jumping round, and added only 14 time faults on cross country. This talented pair will be out and about in 2010, and plan on aiming for the CCI* at Virginia Horse Trials in May. Congratulations, and best of luck for the spring season!

Highwayman and Hera both finished up the season with impressive honors. They both finished 2nd in their respective 3 year old divisions in the Future Event Horse Championships held in Lexington, VA on Oct. 30th.

Brigantine (Quinar x Rodanthe) was awarded the only Premium foal rating at her Holsteiner inspection on Sept. 30th.

Hera (Heroicity x Electrica) took 2nd place in the 3 year old division with a very competitive score of 79 in the Future Event Horse Competition at Maryland Horse Trials on July 17th. She received high marks in Conformation, Frame, Trot, and General Impression , and outshined her stablemate, Highwayman, who also recieved a respectable score of 72.5 and 5th place.

Higwayman (HoldUp Premier x Gabys Impala) took 1st place in the 3 year old division and overall Reserve Champion at the Waredaca Future Event Horse Competition on May 29th. The judge commented that he is a "strong horse with uphill tendency" and noted a very positive overall impression.

2008 Competition News

Quattro Au Lait placed 2nd in USEA 4 year old Young Event Horse Competition at Talbot Run Equestrian Center on June 22nd. Scored a 78.18 and qualified for the YEH Championships in September at the American Eventing Championships.
Update: Congratulations to Jane Thery on the purchase of Quattro. Looking forward to seeing you and Matt Flynn competing him in 2009.

Stacy Cahill & Royal Manhatan had a spectacular, clean Endurance day at the Waredaca Training Level 3-Day, and an especially good time on the steeplchase phase. Congratulations on a job well done!
